Time of departure – best time is in the afternoon, departure from Habarana 14.00 AM (pick up from other locations or time can be arranged)
Duration – 4- 5 hours depending on the guest.

What to bring/wear – your camera, suncream, sun hat, binocular, water.

This tour can easily be combined with climbing Sigiriya's Lion Rock or Pidurangala, Dambulla's Golden and caves Temple in the morning.

Enjoying Safari to Kaudulla and Minneriya National Parks will probably be one of your highlights of your visit to Sri Lanka. We are specialised in safaris and even co-worked with one of the best cinemotographer of Sri Lanka Dilum Alagiyawanna for the documentaire "The gathering at Minneriya National Park" (see movie).

Kaudulla is home for 250 wild elephants, leopards, sambar deer, sloth bears and best month for a vist is October till March.

Minneriya is the site of "the Gathering" where in August more than 400 elephants gather in an awesome spectacle. The dry season from May to September is reckoned to be the best time to visit.

You will be able to have a personal encounter with this enormous creature of Sri Lanka , the wild elephant. When you are lucky you won't need to enter the parks to view elephants as they freely roam the countryside.
